I keep revisiting this song, as I improve (I hope!) my engineering skills and get better equipment. The song is a reflection I was given the chance to explore suddenly single during "the Rona", while reading All About Love by Bell Hooks... enjoy!

Always loved this song by Louis Armstrong. this is my humble version for my Grandson's tenth month 'birthday'. I sure love this little one.

 As the first line of this song says "You need a good friend to Ride the River with, O you need the assurance of love"
 I created this after hearing the original from my good brother Steve Kelly, a master songwriter and composer of this song,in Wales.It's a song about being there for a friend.
My good friend Sal Paradise (World artist from London,UK)  produced and mastered the track and added his  great talent on bass,drums,keys and Fx. I did the vocals and guitars.The song really had a huge impact on me and at the time Steve rowed the boat on the river and helped me attain the confidence to create and work on songs again after a long hiatus. 
 Sal's work on this made it come alive and i am deeply grateful to him for his production and long friendship.
