Tunda Album Kedua, Respito Kembali Dengan Single Terbaru

Bulan Agustus ini, unit grunge asal Jakarta, Respito akan segera rilis single terbaru bertajuk “Hampura”. Diambil dari bahasa sunda yang artinya meminta maaf/memohon, “Hampura” akan memberikan nuansa yang serupa dengan cover single mereka sebelumnya “Berkibarlah Benderaku”, ciptaan Ibu Sud yang menjadi single terakhir mereka 2 tahun lalu.

Respito memang tengah asik bereksplorasi dengan intrumen-intrumen lokal untuk materi lagu barunya, “Lagu Respito yang biasanya sesak dengan distorsi yang sangar dan beat yang kencang. Hal tersebut justru berlaku sebaliknya di lagu Hampura, kami ingin lebih ‘mature’, lebih bijaksana dalam pemilihan sound dan inilah zona aman yang kami maksud. Ini adalah sebuah tantangan bagi Respito sendiri untuk membuat lagu yang sangat emosional tanpa distorsi yang tebal. Dan kali ini adalah menggabungkan instrumen tradisional dengan instrumen kontemporer. Dan kami sangat senang menyebutnya sebagai New-Indorock movement,” ungkap Pheps sang vokalis saat diwawancarai TRAX (31/7).

Pheps, Daff, Chandra, dan Ricky saat ini sedang proses mengerjakan album kedua, setelah album pertamanya, Jalan Menuju Surga rilis di tahun 2009. Sebanyak kurang lebih 10 lagu yang akan dipilih, para personil saat ini masih disibukkan dengan dunia arsitekturnya masing-masing hingga masih belum dapat dipastikan album kedua mereka kapan diluncurkan.

RESPITO is an New Indorock / Post Grungeband from Jakarta, Indonesia. They’re Pheps (Vocals, Guitar), Daff (Guitar), Ricky (Drums) and Chandra (Bass). RESPITO word itself comes from an ancient Javanese language means "Heaven". Their songs consist of a heavy modern rock sound, with a catchy lyrics and equipped by metaphorical wich talk about social criticism but it keep easy listening.
At the end of 2009 and then RESPITO has released their first full album is entitled "The Road to Heaven", which consists of nine tracks with a single "Angels Cry". Their singles have been played on radio stations in Indonesia and have been heard as much as 7500 times on myspace and even video clips can be viewed on youtube.
In recent years, RESPITO were grew up on Indonesian’s Grunge scene and has traveled to several cities in Indonesia from Jakarta, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Malang, Semarang, Surabaya to Bali with a solid platform schedule. On their carrer,since 2001 they had produce Two E.P and Five album compilations .In the year 2009 they performed at the biggest rock event in Indonesia, namely the Java Rockingland 2009 with big bands in Indonesia and overseas bands.
