Like no other, Nico Juice mixes music as a basic ingredient throughout his life. He is the head honcho of the infamous Mo’ Juice parties (alongside Mo Disko), he works for Democrazy as a concert promotor and he is a much admired DJ, firmly embedded in Ghent's (tiny) clubscene. More than anything else, Nico Juice is a longtime vinyl-enthusiast with a chunky record collection, that mainly focuses on obscure - yet infectious - dancefloor gems from all over the globe. Selection-wise, he bravely avoids the tried and tested party formulas and aims for an original, quirky sound to call his own. If we must mention music genres: disco in all its shapes, early house, tropical/exotic stuff, eighties boogie,… every tune is added to the blender meticulously. As such, his DJ-sets are like a vivacious shot of juice, that gives you a taste of the endless possibilities of the night

Holly Johnson aka LADYLIKE is a deejay and musician living in Detroit. Her musical stylings cross multiple genres including but not limited to house, downtempo, trance, and alternative dance music. LADYLIKE has held multiple residencies at Detroit hotspots as well as bookings at Movement Festival and Motor City Pride in 2023. She currently hosts a monthly called FOURPLAY at Spot Lite Detroit with Scott Zacharias, Father Dukes, and Ryan Spencer. 

LADYLIKE dedicates each set to the dance music pioneers that have come before her, Detroit contemporaries that endlessly inspire her, and every dancer that fills the floor. When she’s not DJing, you can find her playing bass and performing vocals with her indie rock band Double Winter.

"I recorded this mix after a week of sickness when my body told me to slow tf down. I had also been getting way too in my head about deejaying, bookings, and my own lifestyle, so I took this opportunity to pause the intrusive thoughts and just go for it. The result is a flavorful one-take mix recorded on a sunny morning in my apartment on the Eastside of Detroit. It’s an eclectic array of tracks that remind me of why I started deejaying in the first place. As always, this mix is a journey that’s made for the people who influence me, near and far, in this infinite feedback loop that we call the dance community. A community that keeps me going and when I stray, has me always coming back for more. Thanks, XOXA!"

Swiss-Turkish, Berlin-based producer and DJ Mehmet Aslan explores the far reaches of the Swiss post-punk, experimental and electronic scenes on his new compilation Senza Decoro: Liebe & Anarchia in Switzerland 1980-1990.  “It was like a wild laboratory for all forms of new and strange sounds,” he says.  In celebration of its release, Mehmet has created an exclusive mix for Juno Daily featuring some of the album’s highlights and a few other choice gems thrown in for good measure.
