In 2001 he entered his 1st grudge match at the 'battlescars' event hosted by 'skinnyman' where he battled omen after attending '3style mondays' on oxford rd manchester 4 2yrs see www.youtube.com/firedupcru.We have since seen a dramtic change in the independant hiphop/grime scene in Manchester and the n.west in general when a mixtape boom was started up on market st outside 'footlockers' and was to be the new musical stepping stone and networking centre for 100s of artists/music performers in and around manchester in 2002 started by Restless aka Khi/Solider/Serious-G attracting 1000s of pounds in custom/revenue for themselves and every company on market st sparking many television music channels such as MURTV/SMTV/Bar media/Restlesstv/ everyone from SKEPTA to SHIFTY has passed thru to network,gain fans and promote their music without any major label being involed {pissing of the labels/authorities} who wernt included in the wage slips this time..no pain no gain for the artist..'the underground music scene will allways find a way of being unique sort of attitude' has taken the majors by surprise and continues to shine regardless with no fear of being watered dwn or ripped of by majors for food and bling for a while hahah!
