Paraga Beach EP

Melbourne

We picked up the guitar and started playing this melody. Right then and there, we recorded it. The snap and shaker was recorded live using eft over change from Starbucks that morning. The drum beat you hear in the drop was heavily distorted and purposely made to sound as low quality as possible for the vibe we were going for. The windows in the bedroom were open when we did all of this so there was some street noise that was picked up in both the guitar and vocal takes. We kept it all in the record. Everything felt so cohesive and created an atmosphere that felt so special to us. Everything -- from the beginning to the end of this song, was a true moment.
