With musical influences from the likes of Scott Joplin’s Ragtime music as a young boy through the heady Balearic days to still immersing myself in all the fresh music coming out today, I still have the drive and passion to make new music. Drawing on all my eclectic tastes, old and new I am happy to announce that after a break of 12 years that my eighth release is imminent. Music is my religion and I got the same vibe from the guys from Restless Soul so sit back, close your eyes and lose yourself in Orinn –A Man Was Had.

In the second of our 2015 festival warm up mix series, Phil Asher, takes to the decks to brings us 10 Tracks of an inspirational, uplifting and of course deeply soulful nature.

Phil Asher has been one of the residents of SunSplash Festival over the last 7 years, during which time he has graced our beach parties and club sessions with nothing less that pure class. Whether the occasion calls for good time party tracks, or something deep, moody, broken beat, mellow or cutting edge, few DJs can delve into as wide a spectrum of good music and present it with such natural ability and flair. As far as we are concerned Phil Asher is nothing short of house music royalty, but house music is just the beginning.

I made this Groove using iMaschine in my iPhone. It took about 12 min's to finish, 
I'm not saying that because i want to show off my abilities, i'm saying it to let you know how quick & easy it is to make music with it, I intend to spend a bit more time on it, once i transfer it to my Studio Maschine. you get my drift, please comment, ask question's and download .. For the Love of Music.
I use my own sounds combined with Kerrie Chandler's Kaoz kit & some snippets of my voice as percussion. the bass is from the Vintage Heat kit.
