It's been ten years since i installed ableton live and various softwares for the first time. This track has ten years, it's one of the first i produced and the only i still have got from this era... 

It's completly fucked up as the title says and it's the original title. I still appreciate the naive aspect of the composition.

Cela fait dix ans que j'ai installé ableton live et divers logiciels pour la première fois, ce morceau date de cette époque. C'est le plus vieux morceau que je possède encore.

Il revêt un caractère naïf que j'apprécie, je n'avais regardé aucuns tutoriels à l'époque, je n'avais aucunes connaissances sur la synthèse, j'utilisais très peu de séquenceurs, etc etc.. Du fait de cette naïveté j'ai produit quelque chose que je ne pourrais plus faire aujourd'hui, et cela fait partie des raisons qui me conduisent à le publier aujourd'hui.

PI DOOM (@user-61064116) is a live act side project from Knappy Kaisernappy (@equintin1), both run by Elsa Quintin, multifaceted artist, musician, dancer, and researcher based between Odessa [UKR] and Rennes [FR].

Together with Ivan Samokrutkin, she co-curates система | system (@systemma1) a pluridisciplinary art and music project and label. Since 2017 система runs a monthly show on @rinse_france, supporting experimentation in the spectrum of electronics, out-of-format, marginal and no-go-zone sound experiences. 

Despite her music activity, Elsa is a drawer and visual artist. She co-runs Coppelia Press, a publishing house working in the fields of visual arts, textuality and sound. She's a researcher and art teacher at The Academy Lyon in Rennes, currently also a student of Russian language and Slavic culture in Odessa, Ukraine.
