I tried something new, I tried to make my first K-pop beat, and it was difficult, so bear with me. I got massive inspiration from EXO's "Ooh La La La" which led me to use similar drum patterns and have the beat in the same key. This is the type of beat that with vocals like EXO, it would just bring the beat 10 levels higher, so right now, it might sound weird to some!

Moving on to the beat itself, it follows one of the more generic song progressions of K-pop. Intro -> Verse -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> Verse -> Pre-Chorus -> Chorus -> Bridge -> Chorus. Every section is different, which prompted me to step out of my normal style. The Pre-choruses and Bridge have totally different melodies from the verses and choruses, which I love. It helps with the repetitiveness of beats, which I have struggled with for a while. 

I took a lot of time trying to make everything different, as the drum patterns also are different from the verses compared to the choruses. 

This is the most I have ever spent on a beat, so enjoy my first of many K-pop beats, and thank you!

Feel like I'm heading in the right direction developing my sound. I'm gonna go for a more pop/trap driven beat on the next one I think since I haven't tested the waters on that yet but I really enjoyed making this one a ton. For some reason those evil sounding tones are really fun to play with! Hope everyone enjoys it!

Side note: I'm still trying to figure out vocal settings and mastering that side of it, so I'm sorry if that sounds a little rough.
