Born and raised in Gaborone, Botswana. Martin Kgogobi learnt to love Pop, R&B and Hip/hop music from his mum and brothers who introduced albums by Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys, Westlife, Blue, Tupac and Lil Wayne to him. He then moved to Lobatse at the age of 14 and at that time he's brother was into freestyling and he'd download instrumentals from the Internet and rap to them. In 2016 Martin fell in love with instrumentals and wanted to learn how to make them so that his brother can rap to his, so one day while surfing on the Internet he came across a software called Fruity Loops well known as FL Studio. Read the info and found out that the software is used by big international producers such as Dj Mustard, Metro Boomin and Soulja Boy. He downloaded the software and watched YouTube tutorials on how to construct melodies and drumlines. After moving back to Gaborone, he started uploading his beats to Instagram and he got exposure. 2020 Martin started sending out beats to underground/up and coming artists. The young producer recently released his debut single +267 Freshman Cypher which features Coolnerrd, OneTake & Tay Boz.
