Another selection of mainly UK techno from the early to mid-90s. On this one there's a slightly more uptempo/dancefloor feel (in the middle section at least), with some deep grooves from the Pure Plastic/Plaid family, LFO's Mark Bell in his Clark guise, a soulful techno masterpiece from Inertia (aka A Guy Called Gerald), and a raw heater from Neuropolitique on Irdial. Recorded from vinyl once again with authentic grit.

Ali Berger has been quietly percolating in various corners of the US dance music scene for the last decade. His productions explore the spaces between distorted drum machine improvisations, synth-heavy techno trips, and warm mechanized funk. As a DJ he creates narratives from a wide range of music, moving from contemporary house and techno to timeless dance classics to jazz and R&B, all connected with precise mixing and ease that comes from countless hours behind the decks.

If you're into newer strains of American dance music, chances are you've heard the name Davis Galvin. The Pittsburgh producer embodies an exciting musical style currently coming out of the Midwest, a sound that blends American house and techno with influences from garage and modern UK bass music.

Marlais is the stage name of Michael Culme-Seymour, who has been living and working in Berlin. “Warm at Last” his debut full length album released in 2016, hosted traditional ballads and songs from Britain and Ireland, sung to experimental electronic arrangements. His latest single "Meeting Is A Pleasure" was released on Treibender Teppich Records in September 2020. He co-hosted the show "We Just Met" on Berlin Community Radio with Phil Smith for 4 years and went on to host it alone for another 2 before the station shut down.
