The choral version of my composition, Lux Aeterna, sung by the University of Nottingham, auditioned chamber choir - Viva Voce, conducted by Clare Fowler.

The text comes from the Requiem Mass, and describes eternal light and that everlasting hope that we will get eternal rest and light when we pass into heaven.

Lux æterna luceat eis, Domine,
cum sanctis tuis in æternum,
quia pius es.
Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine;
et lux perpetua luceat eis;
cum Sanctis tuis in æternum,
quia pius es.
Amen.

May everlasting light shine upon them, O Lord,
with your Saints forever,
for you are kind.
Grant them eternal rest, O Lord,
and may everlasting light shine upon them.

for you are merciful.
