Acid Techno is a subgenre of electronic dance music that emerged in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is characterised by its heavy use of the Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer, which produces a distinctive squelchy sound often associated with the genre. Acid Techno tracks typically have a fast tempo, ranging from 130 to 150 beats per minute, and feature repetitive, hypnotic rhythms that can be highly energetic and intense.

Denny Kay "Acid" is a showcase of Acid Techno music, featuring the distinctive sound of the TB-303 synth and the fast, intense rhythms that define the genre at present days. The album explores different variations of Acid Techno, incorporating elements of other genres such as Industrial, Techno, and Trance. Expect a collection of tracks that are both trippy and driving, designed to take the listener on a journey through the psychedelic landscape of Acid Techno.
