Day 1 of #WeekOfNoteBlock! This time comes a tune from a game that I don't yet own, but I'm probably going to pick it up after hearing what a bad-ass soundtrack it has! The original Magikarp Festival theme was pretty electronic-techno-y already, so I hope I was able to make it different enough to justify it being a remix. Either way, I hope you guys enjoy!

It's my 23rd birthday, so here's my gift to all of you! The first official Sun/Moon remix is here! I decided to start the series with Gladion's Battle Theme. While it wasn't my favorite, it really stood out above a lot of the rest and had a really catchy melody that reminded me of Hugh's Rival theme from Black and White 2. It's not very long but it seemed like no matter what I added to the remix it sounded either out of place or just wrong. So this remix is pretty short, it's got the important part in there though! I hope you all like it.
I'm hoping to remix Guzma's battle theme very shortly. If I'm not busy this weekend then I'll definitely get it out by then. Otherwise expect it shortly after the weekend. I'm going to continue to pump these remixes out every 3-5 days because I love these games and they honestly sparked my love back into the Pokemon franchise that I lost. Keep an ear out for ya boi!

I think we could've all seen the fact that Lusamine was Lillie's mom, but Gladion being the son/brother completely caught me off guard. It was a really nice story and the fact that they incorportated two bad guys into the game on top of family this time really mixed things up. I seriously feel like Sun/Moon were what Game Freak wanted X/Y to be, but just didn't have the time to do so. Sun and Moon is easily in my top 3 Generations because its story was almost as good as 5th gen's in my honest opinion.

Hey guys! I'm back with the second official Sun and Moon remix in my playlist! This time it's ya boi, Guzma. I'm not gonna lie. I had a REALLY hard time with this theme, mainly because I don't remix hip-hop too often, which I feel is what Guzma's theme is heavily focused around. I really hope you like it nonetheless, guzma was a badass and funny character in the Sun and Moon games, and I hope we get more villains like him in the upcoming gens. I wanted go for for a mix of orchestral while making it sound synth-y to foreshadow what happens to Lusamine. And yes, a mother beast remix will come, I actually started it a couple weeks ago and I like how it sounds, but it's not next on the list. I still find it funny how I released this on my mom's birthday with Gladion released on my birthday. That was not intentional, it just sort of happened. Lusamine was an awesome villain. I liked her a lot more than Lysandre, and I kind of felt bad for her in a way. She just slowly lost her mind and it affected her entire family. It's quite sad when you think about it, losing the mom you originally once loved, only to see her go mad with beauty and power. I really do like Lusamine, and hope more villains in the future are similar to her.

Pokémon Sun/Moon Remix: Vs. Lusamine

The boys are back! The new Super Smash Bros Ultimate for Nintendo Switch was shown in great detail this E3, and I couldn't be more excited to try it for myself this December! To celebrate the occasion, I thought it'd be only fitting if I remixed the newly revealed main theme for the game, which is honestly already catchy as hell! As SSBU is about all the Smash games coming together, I thought it would be cool for all of the Smash series music to come together, so keep your ears open for references, they're everywhere!
