Jim and I (Belinda) worked on some original material and performed at the Abbey Tavern in Kentish Town, which led to us forming 'RetroAcoustic'; an acoustic duo combining an eclectic mix of our individual music tastes and influences from Culture Club to The Clash, performing live versions of the songs we love. 

We recently recorded a live demo at Mill Hill Music Complex where we rehearse and hope you like it!

Belinda Jones- At age 21 I joined a band called 'Delirium' (2 guys and I) as lead singer, lyricist/songwriter. We recorded weekly at our home studio and performed soulful, Jazzy pop at various London based gigs from; The Standard, The Rock Garden, Monarch, The Angelic and Camden Jazz Festival. Which led to us being signed by a Management Company giving us the opportunity to record with ‘Mike Nielson’ at the Strong Room/Strong Room Management.

Jim Conneely – I began learning guitar at an early age and by my mid-teens I was in a number of covers bands performing to crowds in excess of 1000 people. I moved to London from the NW of England at aged 20 and studied guitar with emphasis on music theory and Jazz techniques/styles, which is very evident in my playing style.  

I’ve been in a number of acoustic duo setups over the past few years, playing a broad range of cover songs from Irish Folk to Contemporary Classics, performing to live audiences.
