Hi, I'm a big fan of this podcast, I love what you do and every new episode is a blessing. Can you stop pronouncing "Ys" as "Yees" please, it drives me crazy. It's "Ees". The Y is being used as a vowel, not a consonant.

How low can it go? It always seemed like the MD could have deeper bass to me.

Clay fighter had vocals in the song at the title screen if you let it sit a minute. Blew me away as a kid.

BS Shockman has the better Mega Man soundtrack on the SNES.

I think Keith Emerson would've been liked the closing music.  Parts of it sound very ELP.

I'm always interested in pushing classic computers to their limits.
This time I was given this opportunity by Paulo Simoes who programmed the Hex-Tracker 849a.

This song has been made on a pure ATARI TT, a machine released in 1990, with 4Mb of RAM, 8-bit sound quality, with 2 hardware digi-channels only.
The trick it - Hex gives 16 channels, using the Atari's 32Mhz Motorola CPU.
(Can make more but with a substantial sound quality reduction).

This song is a MOD format and has all its limitations (8 bit samples, only 64Kb for a sample, only 31 samples in the module, octaves limitation) but the only difference - are those 16 channels in the MOD (software mixing).

Recorded from real hardware (that originally has only 2 digi-channels, haha).
