This time the feeling came to my mind that my goal is complete. A tape I can enjoy - not due to good mixing or so - just the vibe is complete and that's it.
These moments in early November reflecting dark sound scapes that haunt my memories from the Tapedeck era.
We used to sit on these benches and let the cassette rock and dream about our future in music. How we'll evolve and which goals we wanted to pursue. The industry never swallowed us and I mean they tried it more than once. Turn us to clowns on stage. This sound remembers me on this Berlin nights, that in Dresden, London, Leipzig. On the verge of creating my first records. Sleeping in the studio and dj'ing nearly every second night. House Partys and hallway cyphers with beginners, legends and characters.

this mix is 100% Love!! We are proud to present to you this fine selection of mostly west-german pearls we have collected during the last years. All records are original first pressings and were recorded between the late Sixties and early Eighties. 

As the title suggests there will be another part – die Ostseite – coming somewhen next year. Until then we hope that you'll have as much fun with this salad of grooves as we have....
