This song, "Falling" explores the emotion/experience being scared of falling in love. We give this experience to the listener by creating an atmospheric environment with heavy emphasis on the vocal harmonies, synth presence, and heavy groove from bass/drums. The song is filled with airy vocals, lush synth, psychedelic guitar lines, strong bass/drums groove, and ethereal harmonies. This is the first song we wrote and recorded together, but definitely not the last! It was mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer Nolan Thies and mastered by the esteemed Mike Fridmann.

Retrograde88 was formed in Boston in October 2021 and has been performing locally at small venues, gathering a loyal following. Each band member participated in the writing and arranging process for this song, making it a true collaboration. This is our first release, and we've got more stuff in the works!
