The new dirtybird compilation is loaded with 11 great tunes I have been collecting for over 6 months. Most notably, the Shiba San "OKAY" record has absolutely been destroying every dance floor known to man. We have lots of big birds like Justin Martin, Catz ‘N Dogz & Justin Jay on this, plus a ton of great newcomers and friends making appearances.

The dirtybird BBQ was founded as a small get together in Golden Gate Park thirteen years ago. We've had the same core line-ups and even the same chef, Grillson, since the beginning.  But three years ago, the free party in the park got too big and our permit was pulled.  The city of San Francisco could no longer handle the amount of people showing up to the event.  

Ever since then we have been trying to think of way to bring back the vibe of the BBQ park party. This year we finally put together a team that is able to take the BBQ party all across North America and Europe. We will be starting in Miami and ending in San Francisco so make sure to come grill and chill with us sometime this year. This compilation is a celebration of the O.G. dirtybird BBQ vibe.   I hope you enjoy the music.

His 'The Sound Of Fire' EP has got to be one of the most well rounded EP's we've ever heard. The originals are outstanding, perfectly curated tech house bombs that really raise the bar to the vibe we seek to create for this label. 

We're all about those cutting edge bangers on that strictly need to know basis, and we're elated to be able to represent RIFFA in his highest form; and damn did homie delivered the goods. Not to mention the remixes; wow.. You can't fix perfection but you sure as hell can compliment it and this is exactly what happens when we summon 3 of our favorite heavy hitters to step up and deliver 3 PERFECT, eclectic remixes. The boys really hit it out of the park on this one and it's always a pleasure to welcome friends old and new back to the label.

Riff has always inspired us with his balls to the wall productions, and feel like he really stepped it up to his highest potential for his FIRST EP. We're insanely honored too be able to provide for this milestone and have nothing but love and support for this outstanding young legend. Expect some big things coming from this lad this coming year, RIFFA is an absolute legend, great friend and an even better producer; and we're excited to see how all this plays into his career. Coming up with his second single release for Formatik Records within only a few months is Daniel Levak – the German producer and festival promoter who worked summer floors hard with his label debut „Let's Go“ throughout the hot season and is now „Popping Bottles“ in celebration of his massive success.

The opening title track „Popping Bottles“ brings forth a quite dark'ish and brooding take on sample-driven TechHouse, based on super sharp hi-hats and gnarly sawtooth bass modulations for heaving peaktime dancefloors which get their extra thrill out of additional cowbell sequencing and larger than life snare rolls leading into even more muscular bass power.

With „Get Down“ we see Daniel Levak catering more of his hyper-seductive low end works, speeding up things a little whilst bringing down the house with fluttering, Klaxon'esque bass blasts especially created to shed blood on the Dancefloor and fully max out the capacity of big ass rave rigs all over the globe.
