This mix is inspired by Entelechy's set out of the Island Wubs sound camp [Thanks for having me!] at Otherworld festival in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, Summer 2022, with some slight remixing to enhance the listening experience.

Keeping playful and sultry with the pawcast chill-dubstep vibes, Entelechy launches a stellar voyage for any space cowboi and their feline familiar to explore outer and inner space. Traversing a range of strange landscapes, we journey far into the expanse, through turbulence to prolific encounters, before circling back for the home ascent.

Caçadora - The Butterfly Effect

One of my favourite things to do in a set is see how many different genres and BPMS  I can fit into it, while still finding some cohesion of sounds.  I love getting bass heads dancing to house and house fans crunking to bassy sounds. This mix is my attempt to take this experimentation to the next level. While all the tracks evoke bass and depth, we go from drum & bass, deep downtempo, to garage, to glitch hop, to dubstep, to dub techno, to bassy house, and onward. I admit it’s a little all over the place - but the dance floor told me it was working and I’m happy with the result.

Playing in the spirit of the event theme, "transform"; Entelechy drops a high energy Halftime DnB set to deepen and excite the night. A progressive journey through shadow to illuminate some fun and bounce, and to create a space to embrace the beauty and connection which is Inshala festival.

This live recording of Entelechy's set from Friday night 11pm-12:30am with a few blips and nuances from the performance. 

It was such a joy to play at this magnificent, open-hearted, and transformational festival. Big gratitude to Kylee Dawn, Jay Micheal, Evolved Productions and everyone involved for the opportunity and the experience. A gift to be able to celebrate with you all once again!
