From Death to Life

Selected tracks from late 2008 - 2014. Most tracks are in their final stages of productions. Each track has helped me get through a period of time that without music in my life could have been more self-destructive than my life already was at the time. There's a story within each track, I don't think everyone will understands fully how each track has somehow aided me spiritually and emotionally, but I do think there is something here for everyone. It may take a few listens to catch onto an overall feeling or story I was trying to weave.

Having said that - some of this tracks more or less took care of themselves and I was just along for the ride / sculpting process, often leaving some of them alone for months or years at a time only to rediscover them and then jump working on them and seeing where the creative process took me.

No doubt some of the people in my life will for the first time see a softer side to me :)

Verse 1 sets the scene: camera two’s red dot, deadbolt pop, the notice creased to a threat and set afloat. 

On “Hallway math, breath slow; I count like a scope” the bass and sub enter hard. Each hook arrives after a brief half-bar mute that snaps back in, and after the first hook there is a 1-bar stop-time with an immediate re-entry. 

Verse 2 tightens the audit with boxcutter logic, rubber and rain on the gloves, patience of steel, then one whistle sends the boat off.

Virtual Reality

Native of Newfoundland and Labrador Canada. I work on home studio productions. I am inspired by the ups and downs of life -even the self inflicted ones. Most of these tracks are a few years old (it's 2016) and I'm now uploading them to share. Some tracks were produced at 4am, some in the middle of the day and some took over a year to finish. I don't boast or claim to be anything special but each track has helped me overcome some sort of grieving process at one point or another, while other tracks were produced for the fun of it. Tracks on this profile are used to share with friends and family. Consider it a living diary of sorts :) I have a ton more to share.
