Just close your eyes, play this song, and imagine the ending of Mockingjay Part 2. This song is very emotional and shows the aftermath of the events that happen at the end of the story. Picture Katniss and Peeta, taking their children to the arenas and teaching them about the games. Picture the scene in the Capitol after it has been destroyed and many are dead. This song will make you cry.

Introducing Jayd Ink.... As the Toronto R&B landscape continues its renaissance in front of the world, there could be no better time for sing-er/songwriter Jayd Ink to emerge onto the scene. In late 2013, Jayd released a series of three singles that garnered some great attention from A&R’s and record labels across North America. With Jayd Ink’s captivating sound and sought after songwriting, it is no wonder why audiences have been drawn to her unique style and alluring stage presence. 
Jayd was born in Kingston Jamaica and raised in Toronto Canada. She began writing poetry at an early age but then transitioned her craft into songwriting. Starting off as a pas-time, Jayd was able to refine her sound and develop her many skills into a career as a featured artist.  While it may have been easier to subscribe to one genre, Jayd felt it was necessary to diversify her songwriting talents in order to con-tinue challenging herself and remaining open to different genres.

"Jayd" is a given nickname that she got when born. It came from Mick Jagger's daughter Jade at the time. "Ink" represents how she started her journey, pursuing to be a songwriter. 

Jayd Ink has performed at a variety of events around the To-ronto Area including Manifesto -2014 and The Drake. She’s also performed at number of events in Atlanta GA including Apache and Kats Cafe. She hopes to excite listeners with her debut release of Invitation Only, due Sept 8th.
