This set was recorded as part of Sense's event S H I R O: an immersive digital experience re-imagining Nature, on February 5th 2021.

S H I R O is an immersive virtual experience through which to perceive Nature in a digital form, by bringing together a multi-disciplinary array of artists to showcase their work. The event was live-streamed by Grow and powered by Bramble, a uniquely designed platform to interact and explore different virtual worlds from the cosiness of our home.

M.O.B curated the line-up with 7 different artists during a 4-hour journey of chill-out soundscapes in the Main Room and dance floor goodies in the Lounge Room. Thank you SENSE for inviting us to participate in such an exciting exchange of artistic performances. It was a unique experience that brought together both existing friends and new ones to share moments in a virtual but very familiar environment.

S H I R O: Sense Presents Javi (M.O.B)

From Ukraine, based in Berlin, @cadihh started DJing in 2018. Through the years, her passion for different genres of electronic music grew, and she started to develop herself into minimal and experimental music, with appearances in local clubs and festivals like Humboldthain Club, IPSE, Paloma Bar, MIT DIR - Festival and more. She also played on some events in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lutsk) and Serbia (Belgrad). 

2020 marked a change with a new music approach for Cadih: exploring and diving deep into fast techno, trance and psytrance music, she is now building energetic & emotional sets with a precise selection of the finest tracks. Her last sets and podcasts definitely affirm this new style: an intense and fast race, combining energetic rhythms with playful trance melodies. Supporting alternative initiatives, Cadih took part and played at several underground events around Berlin and private parties in order to keep the freedom spirit & vibe alive. 

Her first production of experimental music is going to be released on Kōrero and we this is her ambient/experimental podcast for our show.

From the depths of dub techno, we arise today with the tones of NonniMal’s ‘Hverfisgata’ which is also the title track of his debut LP on the storied Thule Records. For the last few years, the Reykjavik-based DJ and producer has been honing his style of atmospheric, sweeping sounds with releases on Æ Recordings, and LAHAR. 

Hverfisgata is a journey through a decidedly natural soundstage. With birds chirping throughout, coinciding with the proverbial blasts of ‘wind’, the expansive, textured synths bring an air of discord out. Something is brewing in the distance, the calm before the proverbial storm.
