Revelation of Sound is pleased to present CTAFAD. Electronic musician and guitarist, Sun Dawei is a very active composer in China. He started learning guitar at the age of fourteen, and later formed a punk band, which became the catalyst for him to open the door to music. Settled in Beijing in 1999, then began research and creation of electronic music, and at the same time began to dabble in Fashion Show, film, drama and commercial soundtrack work. After several transformations, in order to explore different music spaces.
He announced a new musician project - CTAFAD. In 2020, "Vertical Horizontal" was published on "Shanshui Music". In this album, you can hear "the original sound without too much modification, the sense of space like the atmosphere, and the ambitious ultrasonic experiment. In the end, an epic The core sound field has been carefully polished. The rhythm and bass line are proficient in interaction from the beginning, gradually unfolding and never extinguishing." In the subsequent release of "Vertical Horizontal Extended" and other EP albums, CTAFAD invited Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Atomic Moog, Polygonia, Laertes and IORI participated in the remix of the album.

A new music-making journey is driven by inner passion and exploration, collaboration anddevelopment. Slowly began to emerge in many foreign Techno labels. Such as: Sungate, Indefinite Pitch, Oslated, Intersum, Black Chrysalis Archives and KitchenSync. At the same time, he also created a new music label "GSXS" - mind in thought, full vision.

Bio/
German-based artist Christian Schmidt, aka Klordop.
Klordop is rooted in hypnotic minimal techno. His personal style is characterised by the rich atmospheric spectrum of electroacoustic sounds – unusual in electronic dance music – driven by irresistible grooves.
Expect wondrous journeys for the mind and the body, riding on infectious beats through intense psychedelic soundscapes. The work of the Hamburg-based artist has taken on epic proportions under various project names on his own label, Roo Rec. Today, his main projects are Klordop (dub minimal techno) and Segensklang (for ambient drone).

Akim Kharbeche was a member of the now-famous Château Perché festival as stage manager and artistic director, founder of the Perchépolis label and instigator of the Totem Rituel collective, which invites artists from the underground techno scene to perform at the Sonoka festival. 
The artist has also been an undeniably talented DJ for nearly 15 years, and here he delivers a fresh, sunny summer musical tale, tinged with a thousand influences from dub, deep, tribal, half-time, dnb and breakbeat.

John Fernie, riginally from Glasgow, Scotland, has been a figure in the local Scottish electronic music scene since the early 2000s. With a deep-rooted involvement in organizing and performing at events, he has continually contributed to its growth and evolution.
In recent years, Fernie has further honed his sound design through both music production and live DJ sets, leading to performances at events across Europe and beyond.  His signature sound has strong links to emotional pads and thought provoking energies.  He also collaborates with local deep techno mainstays Repart and Deepbass to promote the Orbits event series, and serves as a podcast curator for the respected Norwegian techno platform Monument.
His discography spans a variety of well-regarded labels, including KVLTO, BAHN·, Informa, and Indefinite Pitch, with more work on the horizon as he continues to push his sonic boundaries.
Fernie is also the founder of Space Textures, a platform dedicated to atmospheric deep techno. The label is steadily expanding, showcasing a growing catalog of high-quality releases.

Martyn Päsch continues to rise in the Global Scene of Electronic Music.

In his work as a producer, we can find a wide range of styles varying from Deep Techno, Experimental and Ambient.

In the beginning of 2018, he started his own record label called KVLTÖ RECORDS, focused on Deep Techno, Ambient, Experimental, Hypnotic and Techno sounds.

His world of music is being built in an increasingly distinct style, perhaps as a fixed part of deep techno. Abundance of synth melody with harmony charm. The kick that leads the power and the percussion that supports it. And ironically, the sudden appearance and disappearance of the break makes his music more self established.

We're happy to start New Year with the Revelation Sessions. Our ultimate goal is to support both uprising and established talents in the underground scene from all over the world and cultivate the passion for quality music.
We're pleased to introduce our first guest Darien J, based in London UK, is a producer, curator and mixer of deep dance music.
Darien's innate passion for music started early at 12; being unofficially, but undeniably responsible for the all-important mix tape for the Friday Stockton-On-Tees after-school gathering. He quickly realized the unadulterated personal pleasure derived from seeing others light up and bond as a result of sounds he'd selected. This desire to help orchestrate togetherness and pure joy on a dance floor has only strengthened and is what drives him today. 
From these early days, DJing has featured heavily in Darien's life. In 1994 he moved to London which is, in his words, 'the epicentre of the world's most innovative and influential dance music'.
Inspired by legends like Sasha, Danny Rampling and Laurent Garnier, Darien began to develop a trademark sound, sharing this with the crowds at many of London's iconic clubs including Turnmills and The Egg through the naughties. His growing love of a particular style led him to start creating his own music, with his first release in 2008. 
Darien J's sound is distinctive; at its core deep bass but fused with acid house, deep minimal and melodic techno combining to create an infectious groove.
