Revelation of Sound is pleased to present the next guest Precursor. Letting go of all the rules and having the music in charge. With that idea Quirijn Verhoog started his new music project called Precursor. After 13 years of playing, he traded his guitar for a synthesizer. Inspired by the likes of Moderat, Kiasmos and Jon Hopkins, electronic music became his new domain.
In his first two releases, the debut album “Wanderlust” and EP “Desire” on Basserk Records, he blends together techno and electronica, resulting in a dynamic mixture of soundscapes. His releases drew attention from Earmilk and the “Desire” live show awarded him a second place at the Rob Acda Awards.
Lately, Quirijn has been reinventing Precursor and positioned himself more into the Techno terrain. With his single “Kylmä” on Aftertech Records and his successful EP “Antagonist” on Us & Them records, he shows that the dancefloor is not unfamilliar for the young Dutch producer. The Antagonist EP has received enormous support from platforms such as When We Dip, Dancefloor Romancer and 8daymontreal.
In addition to producing and performing, Quirijn is now a proud and active member of the Melodic Deep crew and is throwing the first Melodic Deep Invites party during Amsterdam Dance Event 2018.

Revelation Session # 114/ Precursor (NL)

Revelation Of Sound was created in January, 2016 as the music channel for quality underground music community with an ultimate goal to set high musical and performance standards together with an open minded, non judgmental social experience. 
After three successful years of publishing mixes from talented DJs and producers from around the world the evolution process brought Revelation Of Sound to the point to become a record label.  
Starting January, 2019 Revelation Of Sound is now the platform for releasing forward thinking experimental electronic music with the strong focus on the techno sounds by its founder WINDAND C and his like-minded friends.
