Revelation Of Sound is pleased to present José Diogo Correia aka Re:Axis who started his journey in sound at young age, perceiving the vibrations from acoustic and electronic instruments as a tool to create space and travel within. Taken by the desire to explore and expand the inner world, he shared knowledge with musicians and learned Piano, harmony and improvisation at the Jazz School of Oporto, having later completed his education studying Engineering and Sound Design in Lisbon, where he had the possibility to work with hardware and software. Easily inspired by nature and everything that resonate around, José became a professional musician in 2006, the year he set the love intentions to feel, dance and heal through energy and frequencies. 
With releases on his own label Monocline Records, Planet Rhythm, Spectral Rebel, Flyance Records or even Noir Music, that have been supported by Ben Klock, DVS1, Pfirter, Jeroen Search, Truncate, Tale Of Us, Scuba, Dasha Rush, Adriana Lopez, just to name a few, Re:Axis traveled the world performing his own music in clubs such as Magdalena (Berlin), Batofar (Paris), Lux (Lisbon), Gare (Oporto), Indústria (Oporto) or Plux (Hamburg) and Festivals like Boom (Portugal), NeoPop (Portugal), Exit (Serbia), Chocolate (Switzerland), Plötzlich am Meer (Poland), Spring (Germany), Fresh Weekend (Spain), inDoor (Spain), Griboffka (Ukraine), as well as on a Tour in India (New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore) back in 2012. All the experience and maturity acquired over the past makes him a unique artist of the dance music scene.

Over the past few years, somewhat mysteriously, Volster has gradually become one of the most noted fresh figures of the Croatian electronic scene, leaving his signature through production, DJing, event organisation and launching his own vinyl label, @out-of-place-records

Parallel to the new musical chapter of his life, Volster launches TRAUM events in his hometown with Insolate, bringing a new style of techno and club life, characteristic for the majority of Europe, to the local audience. Francois X, Milton Bradley, DJ Deep, Antigone, Etapp Kyle, Paula Temple and Cassegrain are some of the few names that TRAUM hosted so far.

More recently, Volster has gone on to launch a second label, @secessionrec, which now counts two releases. The first, a solo EP from Volster himself, and a second V/A featuring Ryogo Yamamori, Keikari, Nørbak and the label owner.

This set is an attempt at expressing in a DJ mix the connection that we have with the earth. How were are part of it, and it is part of us. The connections which we have lost. And the lack of respect we pay indigenous peoples connection with the earth. And that the world would be a better place for all if we renewed these ideas. Ultimately we are all the same energy vibrating together creating everything there is. Ambitious I know, however this was on my mind when I crafted this set.

The first iteration comes from no other than renowned producer HD Substance. The Spaniard delivers six banging tracks that tread new ground for our label, a more than promising start for our new catalogue.
