On the 13th episode of Lasya, we had a signature-style mix by host @klara_vedis, delivered to us in audio-only straight from Frankfurt. For the second hour, she has invited an artist coming from Leipzig - @kontinum, who contributed a live mix including only his original works. On this show, you could also hear the remix he did for Klara - The Desert Of Dream track, coming soon on Circular Limited. 

Guest Bio: 
Jonas, who grew up in the far north of Germany, moved to Leipzig after
20 years of wind and rain. There he was quickly inspired by the
prevailing sounds of the Institut fuer Zukunft and finally started the
Kontinum project in 2016 with a focus on atmospheric and dissociative
Techno. Over the years, the palette of sounds grew and now ranges from
ambient to deep techno to contemporary club-oriented techno.

In 2017, he founded the Nebula collective with a couple of friends and
started hosting the first illegal events. In the course of time, Nebula
has also found its way into the Leipzig club scene and is now an
integral part of it.

Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound
and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet,
Lowless and Circular Limited.

Since 2021, he has the privilege of being a resident at Institut fuer
Zukunft.

As we approach the hottest days of the year, a fresh mix has arrived here at our charybdical headquarters. It's great to hear the spheres spinning dynamically again, inhabiting a sonic universe of eclectic energies created by the great artist Morian.

With a rich musical background and relatively new to the scene, he fell in love with the world of Deep and Hypnotic Techno pretty quickly. His talent for building diverse sets with real storytelling qualities did not go unnoticed as he got the chance to create podcasts for many well-known institutions such as Anodynic Frequencies, On the 5th Day, CellarDoor, Melifera, Kvlto Records or Fur:ther Sessions. As a long-time and active supporter of Charybdis, we are of course happy to give him the chance to deliver a mix for our ‘Dynamic Spheres’ podcast series and let him unfold his musical qualities in front of your ears.

Morian's 130bpm mix blends different colours of hypnotism, from dark and eerie to light-flooded and playful, from groovy-psychedelic to spherical and dubby. All this with a cosmic, narrative undertone that couldn't be better suited to teleport you into his very own universe of sound.

Michał Niemczuk alias Mørk likes the combination of natural sounds with raw electronics. Although he mainly plays organic and hypnotic techno, sometimes he reaches for stronger and faster sounds. He tries to make each of his sets a unique story, the aim of which is to take the listeners into a hypnotic trance and let them immerse themselves in the music completely. Revelation Of Sound is pleased to present OutpostLive (OPL). Sound, when alive, is a restless organism. And the sound that rises from Outpost's production is a pulsating life in continuous and relentless evolution. The simple attempt of defining it ends up bridling even the farthest idea of prismatic production. But what's inside Outpost – which prolifically unravels – is also the result of an immense study. These are seeds whose mysterious growth cannot be told, but just enjoyed. The journey is concrete and pulses in the nerves of who's in it. It departs from internal dimensions in the shape of a (just apparently) distant Earth; it moves between the broken rhythmics of hypnotic loops which are bridled by distortion chains, delays and reverbs. And, finally, lands to resonate as a new, aesthetic awareness; as a new approach to the sound matter.

Blazej Malinowski has been featured on some of the best labels in the ambient, deep/hypnotic techno realm with past releases on The Gods Planet, Kontrafaktum, Semantica, Silent Season and many more.
Known for his hypnotic and energetic productions and live performances he keeps a productive workflow and focus on studio work and creating the right amount of energy.
Over the last few years, Blazej has toured in the US, South Africa, various places in Asia as well as performing in many of the Europe’s best clubs such as Berghain, Bassiani, Tresor, IFZ, Macadam, Fuse, Jasna1, Ankali and many more
2021 will see the launch of his new label Inner Tension – a platform where he can freely release his own productions, collaborations, and emerging artists in the scene.
