Our next artist is based Tel Aviv, Israel. He started to develop his production in 2017, having released his music on labels such as @kvlto-records, @postdynamicrecords, @fractvre, @bahnbarcelona and @lotusparable.

 He is operates mostly in dark hypnotic grooves and murky atmospheres that ranges from musical harmony to break where sounds come together to create a deep and hypnotic journey. Please welcome @assimilated1 to the channel

I finally had time to sit down in the studio and play around with an idea I had for an ambient journey. I've combined both the analog and the digital world but limited myself to use very few tools.

We proudly present to you the 50th Far Blue concept which is created by Tokyo based ambient DJ Chris SSG. We’ve been a fan of Chris’ mixes for quite a while now, so we are more than happy that he took the time to curate this special episode.

‘I sat in the park and watched the sun set. The blues and oranges blend and blur together, the day gently shifts into night. With that experience in mind, I return home and make this mix. The music captures that transitional zone: beats are present, not for dancing but dreaming. The transitions are gentle and simple, allowing for a sense of space and openness. Old and new, the records are joined together by feelings and memories, the past circling back on the present.’

Hangover offers four tracks of deep, techy, and enveloping soundscapes that demand your attention. The productions are powerful and attention grabbing. The tension between beauty and abstract sound creating is fascinating in the least.

'Gloomy Avenue' opens the collection with swirling chords over a strong, purposeful beat. The busy atmosphere, enhanced by crackling sound effects, creates an audio analogy of looking through old photos. This dominant, dub techno opus sets a compelling tone for the rest of the album. The title track, 'Hangover,' features a hazy yet very crisp program in its own way. Energetic and swirling sounds blend with deep bass notes to form an ominous mood and cavernous atmosphere. It's a standout piece that captivates with its depth and precision. 'Nocturne' introduces a pulsating beat with chords that morph around it, creating an environment of uncertainty. The track's evolving nature keeps listeners on edge, making it an engaging and unpredictable journey. Ness became interested in electronic music in the late 90's. Few years later he started djing, taking inspiration from various genres going from trance to pure experimentation. The interest in music led him to attend various courses as audio engineer or the conservatory of his hometown in Italy for some years. The need to express himself through music led him to experiment and research, the result in recent years that reflects better his music is increasingly focused on the atmosphere that is intertwined with a hypnotic rhythm.Since 2009 he founded his own label Mono Records that take the name from his own record store where he used to work since 2007 with his friend Bettosun; and releases music in labels such as Prologue, Synewave, Sonata and Varianz. The experience gained through the years leads to define his DJ sets that are characterized by a strong array of Techno and House at the same time.
