Constantly travelling among Rome and Berlin over the past two decades, she has built up a unique approach to electronic music both as a producer and a performer.
When in the DJ booth, DJ Red fully deploys her eccentric and multifaceted personality. From Berghain, Tresor to Awakenings and Exit Festival,Terraforma Festival. She never fails to deeply connect with her audience. The manic perfection in selecting every single record and the commitment of her daily research makes it impossible not to be dragged by the intense, visionary techno sets.
The thriving passion for music blossoms also in her productions.
Intertwining dynamic rhythms arising of electronic drums, organic tonalities and esoteric machines, DJ Red gives birth to aethereal, aqueous soundscapes that reach the very core of her listeners. Her discography counts releases on labels such as Electric Deluxe, Wolfskuil Records, BPitch Control and remixes from Ricardo Villalobos, Zeitgeber ( Speedy J and Lucy ) and Stanislav Tolkachev.
DJ Red is a shimmering example of techno’s past, present and future -- a voice that continues to evolve alongside the genre she so proudly represents; time after time with each impressive performance.

This is the third episode of our monthly podcast 'Nachtstrom Sessions‘ mixed by Tiefton!

Tobias Bülter, better known as Tiefton, is a techno producer and DJ hailing from Germany near Frankfurt am Main. He began experimenting with producing techno music in 2017, honing his skills and refining his sound until he developed a signature style characterized by its hypnotic and modern sound design.

Tiefton has been featured on respected labels such as Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Hayes Collective, Faut Section and Recorded Things to just name a few. With a sound that is both fresh and familiar, Tiefton is a must listen for fans of deep, hypnotic and raw techno and anyone looking to experience the cutting edge of electronic music.

Having met at Mostra in Barcelona, there was an immediate connection as we listened through a weekend of incredible music. Revelation of Sound is pleased to present John Plaza. He is a Chilean artist based in Barcelona, owner of Linderluft Records.His sound is characterized by minimalist percussions, continuous atmospheres, breakbeat rhythms and a search for mental journeys and movements. 

Since he started producing, he has released music on labels such as: KVLTÖ Records, Annulled music, Fur:ther Sessions, BAHN· Records, The Gods Planet, Postdynamic, NFEREE, Space Textures, Circular Limited, to name a few. We can also highlight his active collaboration in more than 30 podcasts worldwide, sharing his vision of deep and hypnotic techno. MONUMENT Podcast and The Memoir by Hypnus Records are his most important contributions.

His productions have included the support of artists such as Claudio PRC, Ness, Svarog, Dorian Gray, Lakej, Alexskyspirit, Abastract Division, Len Faki, DVS1, Petit Astronaute, Doctrina Natura, Save Your Atoll, Kontinum, Blazej Malinowski among others. code.response is a developer based in Greece, deeply immersed in electronic music.                          His journey began in the early 2008s, exploring the rich sounds of ’90s electronica, from breakbeat and Goa trance to ambient techno, drum & bass, and minimal house. 
Over time, this deep musical appreciation naturally led him to DJing and music production, shaping his own distinct sonic identity.

For the 16th episode, he has crafted a one-hour deep, hypnotic and atmospheric journey.
A trippy, immersive experience filled with wrapping sonic textures and mind bending soundscapes.

Set the Mood with Diepzeebeest!

I am truly excited to have Diepzeebeest involved in this series. From the moment I first heard their sound, I was immediately captivated. Their latest release on Float is a perfect example of why they deserve this spot and why I believe everyone should hear their music.

Diepzeebeest loves to explore their inner experience, diving deep into uncomfortable feelings and capturing them in their productions. This process is often subconscious, unfolding while they record sounds from their hardware and software instruments. Turning these recordings into tracks then becomes more of a curation, where meaning is consciously discovered. When approaching the recording for Oefenmeesters Set The Mood, they envisioned it as an introduction to the introspective and driving techno they gravitate toward. The set hints at the depths to come while remaining inviting enough for listeners to ease in. As a final track, they chose a slight outlier—a last moment to surface and breathe before the next set takes the audience even deeper, eyes closed, letting go.

Diepzeebeest (they/them) is a producer and live artist from Rotterdam, exploring the depths of hypnotic techno with releases on Float, Immaterial Archives, and Dynamic Reflection, among others.
