Their take is a hard core version of the original, it features even more faster production with amazingly tight basslines, perfect for those bigger soundsystems. The breakdown is almost totally re-worked with addition of a very beautiful and easy going piano melody that together with Laura’s vocal proceed to introduce a driving lead that will give you so much pleasure on the first listen, making you to repeat this great remix over and over again.

Brenden LaBonte a.k.a. Forerunners has released a steady stream of immersive and unique tracks over the past 8 years, with remixes on various Solarstone labels. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. This EP contains 3 pieces of the finest progressive trance music that you’re likely to hear this year, where the focus is on the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for big trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJ’s who know how to work a room.
