Since 2008, the German producer Tilman has been honing his craft in House music through numerous EP’s on various respected labels and here we see him deliver his fourth long player. Taking influence from 80s NYC proto-garage and Nu Groove’s era of deep house Tilman creates a collection of works which encapsulate the essence of his sound and history with House music over the past two decades, embracing a raw yet dreamy aesthetic throughout. 
Across the ten tracks Tilman employs sturdy, jacking rhythm sections, ethereal atmospherics, bumpy bass lines, shimmering chord sequences, infectious vocals and enchanting top lines culminating in somatic ecstasy.

Maryag’s passion for music began when he and his classmates formed a punk band. It was during this time he started experimenting with electronic music, expressing himself and his love for music through DJing. Having already made his mark with releases on Too Many Rules, Slothboogie, and Jack City Records, Dutch DJ/Producer Tom Wanders - aka Sudden Moves - now lands an impressive debut on Phil Weeks’ legendary Robsoul Recordings.
This release is a heartfelt tribute to the early-to-mid 2000s jackin' house era - a sound that continues to inspire him today. Rather than simply replicating the past, he set out to capture its raw energy and inject his own unique twist. After countless hours of deep digging and meticulous micro-chopping, the result is three fresh, frenetically funky joints crafted with love and intricate attention to detail.
“Each track is infused with a different influence: ’80s funk, disco, and hip-hop - three genres that shaped my musical taste,” says Sudden Moves. “In a way, it’s a homage within a homage. But isn’t that what we’re all doing — paying tribute in our own way?”
