The moment I heard Blueburst's Awakening song I felt the urge to attempt a cover on it. Was harder than I thought it'd be, mainly because of the guitars, they were really hard to transcribe because I couldn't tell if it was two guitars layering over each other or if a singular guitar was playing complex notes. And then Blueburst decided to publish an FLP for it, so that saved my life.

I can't express enough how much of a pain this was to work on, I knew it was gonna be tough but god damn. I started working on this project around over half a year ago, and have suffered endless trial and errors, it was rough, let's just say that.

I can't say I'm totally proud of the mixing, as I believe it is definitely in dire need of improvement, but I do also think it's not the worst. Despite its flaws, I can only assume as a musician that it's tolerable at worst.

It's not often I come up with a melody on the spot and then finish a song with it in only a matter of days, in fact it's only happened once before.

The idea of this song is relatively the same as it was when I first started making it, it's supposed to be an end credits theme and still is, but the story it belonged to changed as I progressed the song into it's more emotional vibe.

This song also takes heavy inspiration from a soundtrack of "The Punisher" called "Frank's Choice"
