Gimenö (aka Aleix Gimeno) is a Spanish producer, based in Berlin with a love for underground sounds. As a music producer, sound engineer, independent artist, and DJ, Gimenö’s passion and knowledge for electronic music are rich, ever-growing, and limitless. 

His long-awaited debut album “Movement”, released on TUTU, matches perfectly with the label’s mission to share music that connects us, brings us to life, and allows us to imagine other worlds.

This nine-track LP blends a variety of genres ranging from techno to acid, breakbeat, and ambient while showcasing Gimenö’s playful experimentation with hardware synthesizers, modular and analog fx.

Fans of the famous squelchy bass are in for a treat with a trippy and groovy track like, “@cid”. Overall, This inspiring LP is an ode to underground music and a celebration of the inevitable process of change. 

The LP will be released on June 27th, 2022.

Beater.gr presents the premiere of Sinistro, a track from the upcoming EP "Letal" from Lucas Freire, that marks the 100th release of Devotion Records. The release will be available on September 19th in digital format. Sinistro diffuses a dark vibe into the surroundings and matches properly the name from its general texture. It consists of hard, "unwelcoming" layers and a raw aesthetic right from the start. With a sound reminiscent of warehouse dancefloors, it maintains its volume to deliver an "aggressively" danceable beat.
