RVV Podcast 008 with Introversion!

Julius Debler, better known as Introversion, already produced his own compositions on the drums, the piano and the guitar in the early years of his childhood. During his youth, he developed a great interest in electronic music, which finally resulted in a defining passion. The importance of learning instruments, especially drums, has had a profound effect on how his music sounds today. Thus he likes to choose groovy breakbeats as well as multiple, stacked hihats. Introversion, however, attaches great importance to melodic, mostly melancholic pad and string elements, in the style of early 90s trance. In doing so, he tries to embed an emotional level into the stomping, repetitive techno-beats. 

Despite his young age he likes to be inspired by the 90s and 2000s rave, techno, trance and Eurodance. This is clearly reflected in his hard and dynamic DJ sets. His  latest release, "Dystopia EP", which was released on the Berlin-based label ARTS, celebrated a huge success and is regularly played 
by famous DJs such as Len Faki, Dax J, Cleric and many more.

RVV Podcast 009 with Darse!

Music lover before synth fanatic, he approached the djing world at the age of 13, after living an experience from which he felt the need to share it with the world.

At the age of 16 he began to play techno music in the most famous club in the center of italy, "Insomnia" but he realized very soon that he was more attracted by the world of production.
Therefore, he left the clubbing world behind and started working for 6 years in his studio, which he created on his own step by step. 

He also developed a passion for electronic music, building himself fx pedals, modules for his modular system and a little instrument similar to a piano and easily recognizable in its production.

Darse loves recording sounds originating from the nature and everything that surrounds him with his beloved Zoom HD Handy Recorder, which he always brings with him. We can find cinematic atmospheres and dark pads both in his productions and in his dj set.

His dj set is in fact significantly influenced by the sounds which he
develops in his studio during the production stage. He starts buying and selling synths e instruments for the studio until he finds his favourite setup.

Glaswegian duo SLAM (aka Stuart McMillan & Orde Meike) - founders of Soma label prepares to embark on the 27th year of it's epic journey. VII Circle. In Dante’s Inferno is where the violents are punished. Deep in darkness, lies the eternal place of unrest for those whose will to destroy consumed their life.This is one of the most vivid and yet dark images in history of literature, and it’s not by chance that the musical project by Andrea Vallisneri and Andrea Casari was named after the dark landscape depicted in Dante’s Inferno. 

With an Indie and Rock background, Andrea Vallisneri and Andrea Casari’s will to experiment and compose with music drove them to form VII Circle. A single entity that, from two very different approaches to music and sound, creating an unique form of music production with dark and hypnotic tones. 
There are no boundaries in VII Circle’s four handed music compositions in which the main influence of Dante’s Inferno contributes to create dark landscapes to the listener with an immediate impact while carrying more deeper meanings and a constant evolution. 

From the international debut with Titan EP, the duo moved forward to the inaugural EP of their own label, Rapid Eye Movement, Archetype EP, in which the dark concepts are turned into tangible matter. 
While the Live act will be unveiled at the proper time, the DJ voyage rest within the hands of Andrea Vallisneri, which merges the profound concepts together with a hypnotic hard rhythm to lead the crowd deep into the very essence of electronic music. 

The Journey through VII Circle is a fascinating path, filled with obscurity and aggressive sounds that takes shape into powerful imaginary within the listener’s soul.
