"The inspiration of this podcast came from my experiences of going to clubs and the things I would hear. Dark, moody, fast and sometimes overwhelming songs, I took inspiration from Techno from across Europe including places like the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. I wanted to transport listeners to those dark like Brutalist inspired clubs and I started it like a journey with some old school techno with the opener Innocence of Death by Nautilus, which came out in 1991 which was then followed by Visions of Gandhi by Ortin Cam, which came out in 2008. This podcast felt like a compressed history of Techno in which I slowly started to come near to the present day, in which most of the songs in the middle part of the set were released in the last 5 years. The closer Mariana Trench by Maharti is the fastest song but also somewhat the most contrasting song, with its almost euphoric and fast paced haunting melody being a perfect way to end the podcast after using some very heavy tracks. These songs came from finding them in record shops to searching through the web while others came to me by chance. I used songs that I felt a personal connection with and these songs Ialso  feel like should be heard by the masses. I used my Numark Mixtrack set to record the podcast while dancing about in my bedroom. Many thanks to the artists and their tracks I used on this podcast, the many club events I’ve been to in my local area and beyond and to Revok Records also. "

The dancefloor is packed. Producers are everywhere. The beat is turned up to the max, like a heavy hammer. This space feels like it’s mine, but it scares me. Then there's this biomechanical thing, a mix of iron and blood. It feels old and primitive, but it’s a new kind of awareness. My body feels like it’s made of metal, cut into a sharp and ugly piece.
I see faces that are a bit messed up, like strange hybrids. Reality feels distorted, like a twist in life’s echo. There’s a chaotic power in this mix, overwhelming and raw. The person in charge is playing mind games. Is Dolina broadcasting? Just saying. The beat is getting more intense.
