BOCHKA PODCAST: WHITE I

Introducing MMCCCXCIX, who has forged a profound connection with music. It all began in 2020, when his first encounter with a synthesizer ignited a deep passion within. Fueling this newfound love, he embarked on a two-year journey of constant experimentation with analogue sound and drum design, paving the way for his own sound development.
By the end of 2021, he acquired the Vermona DRM1 MKIII, a pivotal addition that solidified his unique drum design. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of everyday life, he skillfully incorporates these sounds into his music and infuses them with captivating effects. In May 2022, the project MMCCCXCIX was born, delivering high-BPM performances adorned with colour sounds, dark fx, dark atmospheres, and live vocals. The seamless integration of random drum design further enhances the auditory experience.
 
MMCCCXCIX only performs live sets and his main aim is to tell a story through each of his performances, enabling the audience to immerse themselves in a compelling narrative every time. His musical interest echoes the timeless connection between humans and the music itself, and his fascination extends to the ancient roots of this art form, particularly the profound role of drums and music in religious practices. He finds immense inspiration in exploring how people in those times harnessed the power of music to connect with the divine.
 
In the modern world, music has evolved to adapt to specific environments, where individuals anticipate and embrace the opportunity to lose themselves on the dancefloor. For MMCCCXCIX, music and sound are inseparable, serving as conduits for boundless senses. He believes in respecting the workings of music, recognizing its ability to evoke emotions and enrich the lives of all who encounter it.

Unlock My Shackles (Original) – Trying to escape from one that controls, the slave of machines tries to escape from its restraints in this powerful chain-thrashing big room track. Delusional World (Original) – Get ready for intense rave-infused-industrial techno that is hard and relentless when you play out this track. It’s loud and smashes the dance-floor with kicks and hints of acid whipping at your face. Disrupt The System (Original) – Lost souls trying to find their way in the cold blackness of the unknown describes this haunting beauty. A composition of minds that have wondered with breaks in the rhythm that disrupt and protest. Insanity (Original) – Driving 4X4 kicks dominate this production while the sweat and leather drives you crazy. If you want to bring up the energy, then douse the dance-floor with this banger.

Delusional World (ILLNURSE REMIX) – Interpreted in a unique way by using the familiar EBM / industrial leads to create this favorite for many will definitely make the limiters push in the red. Heresy VI: In the sixth circle, the Epicureans, who denied the immortality of the soul in life, are condemned to lie in flaming uncapped graves. Dante speaks with a Florentine epicurean, Farinata degli Uberti, a gibelino (condemned posthumously for heresy in 1283); and Cavalcante dei Cavalcanti, a güelfo and father of Guido Cavalcanti, friend of Dante and poet. The political affiliations of these two men create a discussion about Florentine politics (Canto X).

In response to a question from Dante about the prophecy he received, Farinata explains that the soul in Hell can see the future but not the present. Consequently, when they "approach or are", it is all in vain their intellect.

Treachery IX: The ninth circle is surrounded by classic and biblical giants, who perhaps symbolize pride and other spiritual defects that hide behind acts of treason.The giants are lying on the ground and therefore can be seen from above. Among them is Nemrod and Efialtes, who with his brother Otus tried to defeat Olympus. The giant Anteo is in the well that forms the ninth circle (Canto XXXI).

The traitors differ from the "simple" fraudulent by the fact that their actions involve cheating someone with whom they have a special relationship. There are four concentric zones (or "rounds") of traitors, corresponding, in order of seriousness, to betrayals of a family member, to someone with community ties, to guests, and to the feudal lord. In contrast to the popular image of Hell as fiery, traitors are frozen in an ice lake known as Cocito, where each group is embedded at ever greater depths.
