Total Eclipse of the PLUGS (feat. The Pretzel Gang)

My first attempt at making a Plugs Theme for Comedy Bang Bang (the podcast) and my first attempt at using recording equipment and Garageband. The mix in the background is a clip from the instrumental version of "Stay Gold" from RTJ3. I tried to capture El-P and Killer Mike's verses, respectively, but I have no formal rapping experience outside of my car. Let me know what you think!

Rev.0 Part 2 - Section 3 Women, Globalization, and the International Women's Movement (2001)

Trying out another plugs theme for Comedy Bang Bang. This one is based on the intro for the Rolling Stoned podcast, with a flavor of Terminator. Also, as I joke about in the outro of this theme, I realize there was a CBB TV episode where a robot takes over all of the joke writing and another episode where they have to go back in time to stop someone from telling a joke that creates a terminator-esque time travel scenario. Consider this a retelling of those events; a fanfic, if you will.

In this first episode of The Album Concept Hour, Brad LeBaron, Dave Gallagher, and Jon Acker discuss the premise of the podcast, which is devoted to finding and deciphering all the concept albums we can get our ears on (using a pretty loose definition of "concept album"). Join them as they reminisce about what originally got each of them into music and their top 5 desert island album picks (plus 1 soundtrack apiece for good measure).
