We welcome "Orion" to SOPTIK. Helsinki based artist "Juska Wendland" aka "Orion" has made a name for himself in the scene, releasing on labels like "Mord", "Suara" or his own "Absence of Facts". With an experience of over 20 years he is now joining our label. He presents us three tracks of finest, unique and groovy techno. Timeless classics that are playable in early, but also in peak time. The main track "Dealer's Hand" lets you start hypnotically and drenched with mystical melodies into the release. "Thomas Colin" coming in with the second track: His interpretation of "Dealer's Hand", with more mental and driving layers. The Stuttgart artist has always delivered with his releases on Schimmer Records and we are now proud to present the brillant combination of these two artists. "Epimeliad V" comes with a break-oriented sound and "Art Of Restraint" rounds it off with mental cuts as well.

I would love to introduce to you Stier / @Roundthree /, a very kind person and great artist from Argentina, who is living in the capital city of Buenos Aires. 

Stier was influenced by the synth sound of the '80s and '90s and in 2011, he dived into the universe of techno for the first time. While exploring all of its subgenres, he was digging deep to find the talent hidden within himself. He always thought that there is no rules in music, everyone simply puts into it their own way of creation and feeling and after all their rhythm becomes what they feel it should become.

In 2018, he started with making his own music, a work which remains in constant progress even today. Rediscovering, reintroducing, and reconfiguring the context. Stier became a performer and audio producer who experiments with a great variety of musical streams. Every interpretation is done in order to create an atmosphere based on techno and generative art. 

He has released his music with PRX Records, DifferentSound Records, Analogue Network, Re:flect Recordings and many more.

STIER'S ANSWERS ABOUT THE FUTURE

“ Techno scene is now better than ever. There’s a huge pool of talented producers who are beginning to emerge. I like all the feedback we give and receive among emerging artists, I feel there is a lot of connection and we try to give each other a hand in every way. My goal is to continue doing what I do, I hope for a long time, continue releasing good music, without focusing on names or fashion. Never lose my personality, the vision and work humbly without messing with someone. ”


What are your imaginations about the future on Earth in general?

“ I think humankind will have to make a difficult decision at a certain point. It is clear that the Earth is not in its best state and in many cases the damage we have caused is irreversible. We cannot maintain the idea that some people are more deserving than others. We probably need to return to a more simple way of thinking, where everyone has a purpose and contributes effectively to society. We have to change in a big way. ”
