Nasty J makes his debut on Jah-Tek, delivering four tracks packed with his signature musicality and seismic sub definition.

The EP begins with ‘Dogana’, where a dissonant melodic intro sets the stage, before a vocal prelude gives way to a cascading bassline, progressing gradually into hip-hop zest and floating synth hits.

Next, the title track 'Orly Hardcore' unfolds with a stepping rhythm and tranquil pad work, progressively building before erupting into a fierce, rasping lead, whilst a responsive sub bass line and dynamic stepper style interludes drive the track forward.

'Caverne' follows, immersing listeners in a dystopian atmosphere where a ghostly vocal drifts beneath resonant chants, while a deep bass rhythm binds the track’s haunting mood together.

Finally, ‘Gris Nardo’ brings the EP to a close, switching up from a dazzling horn symphony into a flowing bassline, that slowly intensifies into a gravelly, militant subsonic rhythm.

‘Orly Hardcore’ EP drops on Bandcamp on March 18th, with a full release across all platforms on April 4th.

Back once again, Germany's own Split returns to After Dark Music [ADM] following his recent debut Australian show hosted by the label. The Savannah EP is what we've come to expect from Split, a five track exhibition of mastery at 140 beats per minute. Built for late night sessions and heavyweight sound systems, this one hits with all the creativity and inventiveness so often characteristic of Split's production.

The title track, Savannah, features cinematic vocals and a moody melody that paints landscapes in your mind. Expressions rides the same wave, bringing a starkness and pensive depth. On the other hand, Steel Grind is a certified weapon: pure grit and relentless pressure. Meanwhile in 7 Down we get the best of both, with rolling bassweight alongside brooding and ethereal textures.

Rounding it out, L Nix takes Split's classic Ganja Anthems and flips it into a groove infused stepper... ragga flavours intact, but with an energy that's seriously fresh.

This is proper 140 pressure crafted for the heads, built for the dance. ADM continues to push the underground forward and Split's Savannah EP is a testament.
