Antonis Pavlides aka Paul Anthonee is a dj/producer/remixer/composer and radio station co-owner from Nicosia Cyprus currently located in Thessaloniki Greece. His music is signed on Lapsus Music, Go Deeva and Frequenza to name a few! This time Paul Anthonee delivers a hypnotic trippy track for Resounds Echos of Thessaloniki using sounds from Kastra, Kapani and Limani areas of Salonica.

EHOHROMA

Stelios Koulinas writes music under the moniker Ehohroma, that is based on ambient aesthetics with intense lo-fi, electronica and techno elements. For the past 5 years he has been working on and compiling material for his debut album Black Sun, which will be released in vinyl by Bliq Records in the near future.

Black Sun it is characterized by deep and cloudy hypnotic soundscape, cassette-over-the-field recordings, slow alternations and repetitive tunes in a timeless manner.

HIOR

A former producer for a jazz radio as well as editor for several music magazines, Hior was born in Athens in 1974. His ambient and electronica music has been scored in several films, documentaries and art performances. 

With already four solo albums and collaborations with artists such as Masatoshi Fujita, Akira Kosemura or Sophie Hutchings, Hior who has also played the piano in Christian Loffler's Ensemble, is part of the 64 Faces of We are Europe in 2019.

At reworks connekt, Anastasios presented another artistic part of himself for the first time in the history of reworks and within the frame of We Are Europe. A spiritual set based on ambient/drone contemporary classics, a trip through undiscovered soundscapes and new musical horizons.

Danai Nielsen is a solo dream-pop, synth-based composer and singer, who uses voice FX to create musical dialogues between a male and a female alter ego persona. Her live performances involve creating music in real-time, using samples, loops and organic sounds. Her sound is described as dream pop.

With her sweet and captivating presence on stage, wearing impressive costumes, Danai Nielsen is mesmerizing the audience creating her own atmospheric eerie soundscape.

On reworks connekt she presented a special live set from BIOS Terrace in Athens within the frame of We Are Europe.

From Athens to Corfu, from Corfu to Helsinki, Lou, one of the four graduates in jazz singing, department of ionian university – music and Sibelius academy was eventually won over by the dark wavy moods  and happy undertones of electronic music. 

Her work has come a long way from the debut album “LOU” , that describes her way to adult life while struggling to retain the excitement and spark that describe her, to her current work, a more underground approach to  true love, fake love, and small ‘’revolutions’’.

Dubfire | reworks connekt exclusive set

Reworks is the first ever complete audio-visual art Festival in Greece, which is been realizing for the past 16 years under the inspiration, the initialization and the artistic supervision of NON Collective.

From its initial steps Reworks has set as its main purpose the enhancement of the unbreakable relationship between music and contemporary art and has offered a stable platform to host and demonstrate new ideas, musical trends and talented artists of the domestic and international scene. It meant also to be a custom-gathering that would be the one to fill the gap in the local cultural and entertainment actions.

Since 2005  more than 1200 artists have offered the maximum of their performance for this project in order to declare its existence.
