Why did i make it? :

Last year, my mother fell ill and required life saving transplant surgery to give her a second chance at life. She was on the waiting list for over a year and all that time i watched as she gradually slipped away from who she was. I never realised just how long and frustrating the waiting list has now become and it can feel like a lifetime watching someone slowly succumb to their illness knowing there is nothing you can do. 

Thankfully she received the life saving operation in time thanks to the generosity of someone who had decided to register.
I don't have much i could give to help the situation finacially, but i am a musician, with a youtube channel and know a lot of amazingly supportive people, and i wanted to create a piece of music and campaign to help raise awareness around the situation.
You don't have to sign up to do something about this, just the act of spreading the word about this video is enough and really could save peoples from dying simply unnecessarily.

Teaming up with the incredible Luke Friend & Hurtwood Student Jenny Shen on this cover of I Miss You! It was a very different arrangement. When i first starting working on this I drew inspiration from the legends, Jimi Hendrix and John Mayer. I love the way the guitar is used as both chordal and rhythmic and wanted to see how it would work on a modern track. Clean Bandit's I Miss you featuring Julia Michaels was an incredible place to try it!

Luke Friend and Jenny Shen really had their work cut out for this. Everything was captured live, not a lip sync in sight but I hope the extra effort brings you in closer to the performance as it was on that evening.

A Commission in partnership with Cinemates, a youtube channel producing some great short comedy content who required some christmas music.

It has 3 main movements/transitions based on the script of the short film

1. Christmas music set to a warm cosy fire with people chatting
2. Someone opens the door and a conversation ensues, character enters building and tension begins to build 
3. Reveals himself as a robber/murderer and pulls a gun on the characters

Ever heard the classic song by A-ha "Take On Me"? Not like this you haven't. The song takes on a whole new meaning and was inspired by Ellie and the "Last Of Us 2" unplugged version...If you don't know what I mean you need to play this game! That scene hits hard and inspired this version. I combined 2 of my favourite fingerstyle acoustic guitar versions and the famous Aha MTV Unplugged version of this song along with my own twist and the result is what you see right here! We performed this live in the room as you are seeing it.
