Early Reflex continues its Eyes series with a powerful return from Brooklyn-based producer
Sobolik, whose distinctive and emotionally resonant club music first landed on the imprint with
Opening track “Sandbox” is a hypnotic roller driven by a constant mantric bass and led by
ethereal, airy synths. The piece flows with emotional clarity, balancing softness and propulsion in
equal measure—an entrancing meditation through rhythm and texture.
On the flip, “Turning Back” explores a darker, more angular energy. Grime-inflected and
basslines. The track moves with restrained intensity, echoing internal shifts and the slow
untangling of anxious loops.
With Eyes III, Sobolik expands on their singular voice within experimental club music, continuing
Early Reflex’s commitment to foregrounding emotionally charged, forward-thinking sonic work.

After acclaimed edits and remixes in recent years, we've decided to sign what we consider to be Colombia's most exciting new talent: Brenda. The Bogotá-based artist presents "Húmedo", a three-track EP that brings together and consolidates high design, playful melodies, and sharp percussion that strongly collides UK and Colombia’s sound influences. In short, a great example of the current state of the Sur América bass technology.

This time there are no remixes, but on A1, the single we're releasing today before the full EP comes out on August 22nd, there's a stellar Colombian collaboration. After the celebrated "Ronaldinho hace la elástica" and a remix for Dengue Dengue Dengue & Prisma, Verraco returns to the label to inject his gnarly FM synthesis and meticulous design into "Rápido & Lento ;)". Ah no wait, maybe there is a remix. We have a surprise from Time Light Curve, an old aka from the legend Gerard Hanson also know as Convextion, serving class and deepness for the true electro heads. This revision of “Rápido & Lento ;) is available only on Bandcamp.

Jensen Interceptor isn’t normally one to stay still but after a freak accident left him with multiple fractures in his foot he was forced to stop and take a few months off. Luckily for us he put all the pent-up energy into his new LP, Interception, out this week on his International Chrome imprint. The LP pulls in influence from IDM, Footwork, and Baile Funk to create his most experimental work yet.

PREMIERE: Jensen Interceptor - He's Cute [International Chrome]

All Centre welcomes Helsinki-based producer Rizio to the roster for his debut on the label. After a breakout 2024 with his first EP on No Snakes and a recent standout appearance on YUKU’s Fresh Faces compilation, Rizio continues to refine his intricate, bass-heavy sound on the Hyperobject EP. Rizio merges geometric rhythms, warped textures and sub-aquatic bass with vaporous tonal movements.

Digital Spell sets the tone with discordant drones and pounding kicks, quickly locking into a mechanical yet hypnotic groove. Metallic accents and glitched textures scatter across the surface. Dubbed-out bass hits enter the mix as the track strikes a perfect balance between a heady atmosphere and a physical dancefloor cut.

The title track Hyperobject lurches forward with a mangled vocal loop and surging bassline, rising to feverish intensity before collapsing into a skeletal, broken-beat rhythm. Rizio’s dynamic sound design creates constant pressure and release, making this a devastating peak-time tool.

Closing track Channel Code emerges with a sub-heavy, atmospheric intro before launching into a high-tempo electro-inspired groove with dubby snares ricocheting through the mix. As the track morphs and grows, an elusive vocal hook slowly surfaces, anchoring the track as it evolves into a shadowy, late-night driver.

Hyperobject is available across all digital platforms from October 17th.

Rolling with a Real One

Montenegrian experimental sound artist Relja Cupic, or Regis, composes and produces music using a blend of vocals and acoustic instruments, creating film scores and installations and performances for various environments, including art institutions, galleries, and more-commercial [music] venues.

His work has been inspired by soundsystem music culture, which is evidenced by his early association with Mystic Stylez, a Belgrade-based music collective, commenced in the 2010s, that revolutionized the bass driven dance music scene in Southeastern Europe. 

Regis, hailing from a small and relatively isolated Balkan nation, brings to the global music scene a sonic palette that is as diverse as it is distinct. The full-heartedness of his music is a result of his early influences, such as dirty south rap, afro house, slow jams, trance, turbofolk and krautrock, to name a few. A multimedia sound artist and composer, he has also achieved significant popularity as a contemporary hip-hop and R&B producer on his home turf. In both segments of his work, Regis explores the boundaries of what sound can be and how it interacts with other mediums, constantly pushing the limits and challenging conventions, blending the traditional with the new.
