What Have You Done? (full OST now on Spotify)

Started out as a New Order pastiche, collecting together little stylistic touches of various early New Order tracks to create something new.  I got so bogged down in mimicking New Order that it ended up being a straight cover version of an obscure early-80's b-side but done in the style of one of their late-80's recordings.
If Cries & Whispers had been recorded in 1988 instead of 1981 it might have sounded something like this.

'What Goes Around.....Comes Around' for Viola and Piano. As in life, this composition a circular work, utilising the beauty, passion and all the range and tonality of the Viola. A real, and tight ensemble performance of intrumental playing is required, and in a way, the two players discuss in sound the feel of where are we, where have we been and where are we going, all the while reflecting? The music, ranging from foot tapping, syncopated, lively phrases, is interwoven with a central melodic and expressive section. The work was commissioned for the Late Music Festival conerts.
