The Brothers Bloom: Penelope's Theme

An experimental Medley of my favourite Street Fighter tracks, performed and arranged by myself using Logic Pro 9, with sound excerpts from Street Fighter IV's Ryu.

The dominant instrument intended is the Piano. Inspired by original composer Yoko Shimomura, and featuring the Bare Knuckle (a.k.a. Streets of Rage) hook by Yuzo Koshiro.

Conceptualized and completed on 20th June 2011.

Ryu & Guile's Theme (Piano Medley)

Was playing Yiruma's River Flows In You and I wanted to see how it sounded when recorded straight to SoundCloud from my iPhone 3GS.

An original sci-fi themed track featuring a voice clip from HAL9000 (don't ask me why, I never plan my "music"), lol).
Composed and Produced in 2005 using VSTs and tracked in MODPlug Tracker, and thrown on some now-defunct music hosting site, I've chanced upon it and various other tracks that, though raw and quite unprofessional, are worth putting on the internet :)

Catalyst

Original arrangement of the Mission Impossible theme, using the signature MI Theme hook by  Lalo Schifrin, while the rest is composed and produced from scratch using VSTs and ModPlug Tracker. 
Conceptualized and produced in 2000, when I was 16 years old, after the release of Mission Impossible 2, made for fun and not for profit.

An original arrangement I made in 1999 of the Mortal Kombat Theme, made entirely from scratch in a midi sequencer (ModPlug) and evidently I inserted a .wav file from the hokkien voice pack of Counter-Strike. 
Another addition to the nostalgia department.

Mortal Kombat theme [cs remix]

Composed, arranged and sequenced from scratch in MODPlug back in 2000, when I had first started going to Boat Quay to "chiong" (clubbing) in Singapore at the impressionable age of 16. Here is a misguided attempt at making a medley of some of my favourite "techno/eurodance" songs from the era.

As far as I can tell, listening to it now, the songs include:
1) Magic Affair - Omen
2) Espresso - Drive Me Crazy (this was the epitome of eurodance techno)
3) Bon Jovi - It's My Life (I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS GOT IN, probably due to similar chordal progression in my juvenile mind)
4) Drive Me Crazy again till END.

FYI: X-clusiv was the name of a pub that once existed along Boat Quay that was popular with the youth of that age for playing eurotrash/eurodance "techno". or rather Ah beng techno.

X-clusiv

An original arrangement by me of one of my favourite Sufjan Stevens songs, made one afternoon last year for fun (and for submission as a school-related project). 

Played around with the vocal plugins to try and create a synthetic sound over my own voice, and tweaked the second for harmonic intervals. Plenty of poorly recorded breath sounds. Plenty of mistakes made. I learned from them, so I guess the embarrassing end result was worth it :)
