I created this mix on the inspiration of wanting to encapsulate the internal feelings we all get when we get blue skies and warm weather after having been cold and gray for weeks

Eric Hermosada said one day on Discord "I need another house mix from Reydium" since the last one I did was back in 2018, so I thought it was time, especially with the weather getting better, I got to it when I was feeling it and created this. I hope you all enjoy it and that it compliments your day; whether you're outside or simply vibing in your room alone, let this be something that brings light in your life for a moment. <3


Special shoutout to Eric, Chase, Naoki, Alida, Aldrick, and Nick for giving me their feedback and reaction to this mix before I released it! 

I always told myself "im not a house DJ so im just gonna leave that to my house DJs" but then,  last year in February 2020 I learned how to confidently mix RnB! I realized it's not about being the best at what you do, what truly matters is how much you have fun with it and how you express yourself :)

Right after finishing listening to ILLENIUM's new album "Fallen Embers", I was instantly inspired to create this. All the creative juices were just flowing and it all came together. I know it may not be perfect but I believe it is good enough to feel like you're at a mini set for this album.

I looked at the FIRST day that part ONE was created, it was January 20, 2022. We didn't release Part ONE until December of 2022 because after we made it we made part TWO right after on the same session we just wrapped up part one. We had such a momentum of creativity and energy to share with these genres and edits, we had to. 

It has been so freakin' fun making these wtih Alex/HOTL!NE and really making something different not knowing how people will like it or react since it's not the mainstream. 

WE EVEN PLAYED A SET ON JANUARY 6 THAT WAS THE ENERGY OF PART ONE & TWO TOGETHER, LIVE. LIKE WHAT IS LIFE !! THE CROWD LOVED IT AND it was the most fun i had on stage ever, we felt like idols it was crazy haha.

I manifested the idea of Gabe & I going B2B back in March 2023 when we had first met. 

I knew within a few conversations, interactions, and sets I've heard him play, that he has the right energy in this scene that I love. The type of energy that wants all the homies to win; spreading the wealth and love from doing this music thing. 

As someone who also believes in believing in the success and potential of others; I gave my full trust into Gabe, that we would be able to do great things together. You ever go through a breakup but y'all weren't even actually dating? That shit hurts. 

This one is for all my single ladies and men. 

This mix was inspired by Ivy Lam.

I started making this mix back November 2019, but now we're halfway into January and I honestly felt like never releasing this mix because it's sort of out-dated now. But I am taking something I learned in 2019: which is WHY I choose music and WHAT kind of artist I want to be and being true to that; that I will share what I want to share because what matters most is that I personally love it myself, my art. If someone else chooses to love it too, that's a bonus. 

With art, some of us aren't worried about being the "best" in other's eyes, but being the best in our OWN eyes. So with this, I felt this mix wasn't my best, but I remembered I'm not here to get plays or noticed, I am here to share my craft with others, to let them indulge on what I love doing.

OR just to vibe out by yourself in the shower or your room? THEN THIS IS THE MIX FOR THOSE MOMENTS. 

This mix is similar to the kind of freestyle set I played at UWS KhSA x KSA x VSA's Winter Blossom Formal, BUT this mix also illustrates my own development as a DJ; being able to finally mix other genres than just EDM. Hope I made y'all proud with this one! 

You will hear a blend of Rnb/HipHop/Rap/KPOP and very minimal EDM but I decided to not make it entirely a RnB mix because that's just not who I am; I wanted this mix to represent ME; DJ Reydium. Staying true to ourselves as a developing artist goes a long way.

ROOM REYVE (MELODIC / PROGRESSIVE HOUSE SET #01)

Are you gonna be there for you? 

“Sincerely, You” is a themed concept where I want you listen to it like the songs are YOU singing them to Yourself; a self-growth mix. Just like healing is a process, I wanted this mix to be a process within the time consisted listening to it; letting ourselves go of who we were before, realizing our flaws, that we may find ourselves defeated but we are not broken. That we can also learn to accept and newly love ourselves in ways we thought impossible. ❤️

For the next month (Sept. 20-Oct. 20), for every stream, capping at 1000, I will be donating $1 to TWLOHA , a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. 💛

Special shoutout to the amazing Rachel Asistin for accepting my idea of having her voice some quotes I made up / turning some into her own, to implement into this mix to add a touchy dynamic that makes it feel all that much more personal. 💜

The set’s concept is through my personal mind as a Pisces; one who enjoys to reminisce and indulge in nostalgia. One who makes up things in their head to believe things are better than what they actually are. This set is meant to represent the emotional parts of me but in a pretty way; where the sounds and visuals are in thought to replicate the stars. The lyrics in this set are supposed to illustrate the idea that love heals and that it’s important to reflect on our self-being every now and then. We strive for perfection when we really need to just embrace our imperfections. Ask for help when you need it and lend a hand when you can type-energy.
