East End Dubs - Fever

Deeply involved and connected to the club culture of their hometown for over a decade, Manchester's Mason Collective's ascent from local promoters to stars of the international scene has been nothing short of meteoric. Now delivering their DFTD debut with double track release 'A Little Affection', the trio demonstrate their club-focussed sound with a groove-laden EP soaked in dancefloor energy. Kicking off with the sultry and smooth lead track, hypnotic bleeps and chopped pads merge beneath a catchy vocal hook for a slice of club magic. 'Lost My Way' follows, where a bouncy groove wiggles along the low end, as the mesmerizing vocal and horn snippets add to the record's mystic quality.

Mister DJ is a feel good and superbly stylish house cut that exudes cool. The soulful vocals melt the heart as they deliver gorgeous hooks or warm, puling bass and infectious grooves.

A multi-talented figure in the global house landscape, Amsterdam’s M-High has emerged from his ‘one to watch’ tips from a long list of key players in the industry. His growing sound has seen the Dutchman take in a wider range of influences from minimal through to electro, leading to releases on LOCUS, You&Me, and Djebali, amongst others. Following his heavily requested anthem ‘Devil’, the young talent stands out again as he makes his Hot Creations debut with a trip through futuristic basslines and silky, smooth house rhythms across his four-tracker, ‘Search 4 Pleasure’.

Up first, ‘Taste It’ merges acidic tones and sci-fi grooves that playfully dance over flickering stabs and lush, soulful vocals. Next, 'This ‘N That’ delivers thudding kicks and swirling sirens that lock you into its relentless breakbeat groove, while ‘Hello You’ harnesses an infectious bassline with assertive percussion and electro-tinged melodies. To close, ‘Search 4 Pleasure’ continues to bring the energy as sparking synths and robotic vocals go to work to shape up the EP in style.

With the former now making his label debut on Solid Grooves Records following countless appearances for the collective to date, and the latter returning to the label for the first time since his 2021 hit 'O La', here the pair collaborate for the very first time and showcase exactly why they're both in such high demand with the release of 'Searching'.

Murphy’s Law return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, joined by label debutant Sam Curran and Harry Unsworth, on the collaborative banger, ‘Proper Whopper’. 

Nearly a year on from their two-track ‘Every Day, All Day’ EP, Leicester-born brothers Sonny and Finn Murphy return to the label for more house heat right in the thick of their LAWLESS UK TOUR, while recent releases on Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite showcase their current groove-led sound. 
Up-and-coming Manchester DJ/producer Sam Curran has received strong support from Jones with two outings on sister-label Hottrax and his BBC Radio 1-backed ‘Boogie Nights’ EP alongside House music legend Todd Terry on Paradise Music.
