In 2013, I went to Japan for 2 weeks with my close friends and I had an amazing time in Japan traveling. Coming back home, I decided to make a video montage of the journey and make a track about it. I named the Koenji because one of the towns I've visited is called Koenji and I don't know but was inspired by something, it was special. Hope you feel it on the track.

This is the first of my tracks for the meandering month of February, my project 28 songs later. Although i've been in a very somber mood and feeling rather sad, i was surprised how quickly this flowed out of me…

28 songs later - A Song a Day - my project for February

Sometimes I get stuck. I find it hard to create, then other times the creative flurry vibrates my soul and flows through me like a river. But, I often get transfixed with minute details and can spend years, days, months on production. I can never get all the songs inside me, out; new, old, yet to be told.
So, I have decided to set myself a challenge for the deep wintery month of February.
A Song a Day.
It may be a sketch an idea or a complete piece; short or long, sounds or song but I will be stepping away from the electronic realms and using a simpler approach for this.

Maybe you will be inspired to do something, maybe you will follow my journey or dip in and out but it will be an interesting challenge and I hope to have a beautiful aural journey, wound by sound and following all the ups and downs of this expectant month.
