An adventure into the unknown between space and time. The Istanbul duo Départ is the blend of two souls who are trying to go above and beyond to express their feeling and perspective of the world.

Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Batu Boris combined with the sound textures and rhythm ingenuity of producer Omeria creates a welcoming universe to be explored. Their characteristic visions craft music from their hearts, reflected in ‘Lost for Ages' and ‘Dots'.

We are grateful to welcome Départ into the family with this EP for SAISONS016. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Cultured house and techno label Kindisch enlists Brooklyn duo Bedouin to present their own entrancing sonic apparition on the latest Kindisch Stories compilation. It was conceived in Tulum, Mexico earlier in the year and draws together 11 original tracks all commission by the label to focus on the listening —rather than dance floor—experience.
Kindisch has been setting its own agenda for ten years now. In that time it has put out 100 releases from the likes of Einzelkind, Samim, Jay Haze, Raz Ohara and more, and offers timeless and constantly evolving music that isn't necessarily always designed for the ‘floor. Bedouin, meanwhile, create their own idiosyncratic melodies and rhythms for labels such as this one as well as CityFox. They have an eclectic vi- sion that pulls from diverse influences owing to their Middle Eastern heritage, West- ern upbringing and worldly travels.
Here they stray far into the desert and return home with a naturally elegant sound that reflects the duo’s wide musical remit. In Bedouin’s words, “each piece of music gathered, turned out to be a gem that represented a different corner of the world. Each was special in its own way, but all together they organically fit like one beautiful mosaic.”
Starting with their own enchanting passage of deep and absorbing atmospherics, this is a masterfully paced mix that slowly but surely builds without ever getting sweaty. Always supple and heartfelt, tracks like Feathered Sun - ‘Get On’ and ‘Bufo’ from the Brooklynites themselves (one of three original offerings from them) keep things lan- guorous and romantic throughout.
As the mix rolls on, organic piano keys and rubbery synths from Viken Arman and Satori are paired with ever more upright drums, but never do things feel hurried. The second half remains deep and woozy thanks to cuts from LUM, Oceanvs Orientalis and YokoO, with hints of middle eastern melody and widescreen chords, tender vocal wails and romantic late night sax lines all soothing the soul as the grooves slowly se- duce your body.
With this release, Bedouin craft a marvellous mix that sits as well on an early morning dance floor as it does in the headphones at home.

Anstelle seine Musik nur mit Samples zu spicken, bringt Dandara lateinamerikanisches Rhythmusgefühl auch im synthetischen Frequenzbereich zum Ausdruck. Mit Pororoca schleicht sich ein Hauch von Cumbia durchs Hintertürchen des Unterbewusstseins in die Tanzbeine - während die Stimme der Sängerin und der versonnene Bassdruck ganz offensichtliche Wirkung zeigen. Quiero nutzt die gleiche Formel um etwas zu schaffen, das zur Spitzenzeit einer Party passt. Unter dieses Stichwort fällt auch der mit housiger Wärme aufgeladene Remix von Mollono.Bass. Pophop kommt hier sehr musikalisch, fast schon Song-artig rüber und funktioniert sowohl auf der großen als auch auf der kleinen Anlage ganz wunderbar. In der jener eskalierenden Ekstase, welche die unverkennbare Handschrift von Herrhausen & Treindl trägt, verwandelt sich Pororoca in trancige Verspieltheit. Und Timboletti weckt zwischen tropischen Trommeln und den fraktalisierten Echos des Gesangs unwillkürlich Fantasien von Feiern und freiem Himmel.

Satori - Bad Looking Trouble (Feat. Horrevorts)

He started getting involved with the music industry back in the day when he was a little kid by learning how to sing (Iranian folklore music) and very soon found himself very interested in electronic music.
He started learning to DJ himself with various DJ equipment and ultimately expressed this eagerness and passion by Djing in Tehran’s underground parties in 2004 to date.
He considers himself a melodic house and techno, disco and deep house DJ with soul. Most of the time he plays music by ear and goes with the flow and relies on the crowd’s wish.
He has played in some underground parties all around the world such as Berlin, Venice, Paris, Rome, Milan, Rostock, Sisley, Istanbul, Hamburg, Barcelona, Dubai, Istanbul and many cities in Iran.
