Reza Athar - Radio Javaher 06 [Open Source Radio] (20-11-2021)

This is the warm-up set I did at Horizon last friday. Horizon is the club night, which I promote together with a close friend of mine. This was the second edition of Horizon and we couldn’t expect much better than this. We had two of the most aesthetic female dj’s around the globe, Chloé & Jennifer Cardini. They blew of the visitors minds and the vibe was soo positive. A night which I will remember for a very long time. I did a warm-up set, this is a big part of my set.

The next edition of Horizon is on 24th of January with all-time hero Trevor Jackson and my (quite) new heroes nd_baumecker & Massimiliano Pagliara. Don’t miss it!

Reza Athar - Radio Javaher 08 [Open Source Radio] (01-04-2023)

Golestan is a party I run for 5 years now and my beloved Cafe De Plak in Nijmegen. The basement of De Plak is a magical place which attracts all the beautiful creatures at the night.

In the last 5 years we had amazing artists coming and playing mostly for fun. Guests like Vladimir Ivkovic, Damn Swindle, Daniel Wang, Tolouse Low Trax, Alex From Tokyo, Fabrizio Mammarella, KC The Funhaholic & Mr. Wix, Franz Scala, Thomas Hammann. Which all fit in the philosphy of Golestan. A free space of joy and happiness.

This is the first time I am recording my set at Golestan. I want to give you an impression of the night. The recording was during the Zomerfeesten in Nijmegen, which is actually a big thing. I played all night long by myself there and I think it somehow catches the spirit of a Golestan night.

Traditionally I play my longest set of Golestan during the 'Vierdaagsefeesten'. Vierdaagsefeesten is the 7th days of partying event, where my hometown evolves into a very big festival, that goes on 24/7. The friday nights of Vierdaagsefeesten have something magical. You only see the real ones giving all they have left and it creates a magical vibe. This 4 hour set is a reflection of the night.

Reza Athar - Open Source Radio (10-09-2020)

The first edition of my first ever radio show on Open Souce Radio is now up. 'Radio Javaher' is my bi-monthly show where I play music.
