Forthcoming Feb 23rd, 2024 WiddFam welcomes back longtime community member ShroomHead One AKA SH-1 for this Bass & Dubstep filled LP titled Heat Wave.

The LP starts with influences from Reggae and the Roots of Dubstep, then grows into an absolute belter-fest of heaviness. Melodic, Wonky, and Energetic moods fill the LP with harmonic sonic vibration. Set phazers to blast or slowly melt in the Heat Wave, the choice is yours.

It all started with an exclusive gathering in Southern Oregon 2022. It was the end of daylight savings time and the clocks were going back an hour at 2am. Was not a public event but we invited all the most exclusive fam and close friends that we trust and vibed with at shows/festivals and through mutual friends and family. We all pulled together to created of the most amazing small time gatherings we could ask for. Channeling all my past festival experiences and my love for bass music with the mental boost of Psychedelics I created this wild journey what is known to be "The Portal"
 I never fully desired to play public shows but wanted to create a custom environment in a private setting for my fam to come and enjoy the bass and company of others in a safe space. Where the music journey will make more sense compared to in a venue or club. This was my favorite thing ive been able to do for my friends so far and happy to share these mixes with you.

The Portal Activation kicks off a 4 part series of mixes that will all have their own adventure.

 I strongly recommend slapping this one on a car stereo or anything with a subwoofer or proper headphones that pick up on low end frequencies. I created it for sound system play.

The Portal ACTIVATION

Greetings everybody. In this mix series I will be bringing you the  atmosphere, feelings, and sounds of the dubstep genre from the beginning. All tunes played in this mix series will be from around the year 2000 until 2009 right before it started to dominate the globe. In no specific order, these mixes will bring you back to the foundational sounds that paved the way for everyone who is a part of the dubstep community in 2024 worldwide. <3
