Stuck my head out the window
as the world was rushing by...
lost my breath for a moment...
escaped me in a sigh
as I close my eyes...
pull my braids apart and let my hair
go whipping by
and in this moment...I can pretend...
that I can fly...
Off go the troubles I've been carrying on my back
fall like debris...
like rocks and trees...a quiet landslide
in a slipstream...
while I hang from this window
on this fast carride...
well thank god for good friends
who find me in the quiet
who hear me in my silence
know my hearts' defiance
and intervene 'fore I die
as I close my eyes
I ripped my plaits apart
and let my hair go whipping by
cause in this moment...
I can just pretend that imma bout to fly

I am 40 now and I have been making music since I was five years old. I play all kinds of instruments. I LOVE music, and it’s what I’m all about. A motorcycle accident damn near took music from me for the rest of my life in 2010, so I learned about music production and music theory and I started making electronic music and became a DJ 15 years ago.
